With a career in education spanning over 35 years as a teacher, principal, and coordinator, Debi Rozeski, Ph.D. discovered that social emotional learning and social skills were something that many students and parents were lacking. The causes were not limited to trauma or non-exposure, but were seen in students of all ages.  In 2019 she retired and with a background in animal science and her love of horses, Debi and her partner embarked on a new adventure!

A.U.M. Angels United with Minis Therapy began in 2019 and is a non-profit 501c3.  The mission of A.U.M. is to rehabilitate souls both human and equine through positive interactions.  A.U.M. adopted rescued miniature horses and with countless hours of love, patience, and training the minis are partners in presenting social skills lessons to students.  Just Say WHOA to Bullying© and the E.M.P.O.W.E.R. Program are used in schools across the Inland Empire where the minis work their magic in delivering the anti-bullying message and help to reinforce social skills.

Dr. Rozeski and the minis instill core values and encourage good character to promote a positive social environment.  Through sharing our stories, valuing our differences, actively listening to the voices of others and respecting the healing energy of the minis, positive changes occur.

Dr. Rozeski is also an EAGALA certified Equine Specialist trained to work with mental health professionals and horses as a team to meet the needs of clients who desire more than traditional “talk” therapy.  She and the minis are available for site visits and community events.  She may be reached at auminitherapy@gmail.com.
