Dr. Stone was the founding librarian of the Riverside Medical Clinic Medical Library! He believed all patients, caregivers, community members, and inquisitive minds should have access to medical knowledge free of charge! ⁠

In his honor, this year we are excited to welcome Irania Patterson, CAPF to be our guest speaker! She is a certified applied bibliotherapist who works to foster transformation and resilience in marginalized communities through transformative writing! ⁠

During the webinar, Irania will be discussing her work with families within the school system and her approach to family literacy. 

This lecture will be in a Zoom meeting format so that all wish to can participate in a live poetry/bibliotherapy session! ⁠
