PulsePoint Technology

The Riverside Fire Department, led by Fire Chief Michael Moore, has recommended the initiation of the PulsePoint App for the City of Riverside. This technology will increase an individual’s chance of survival from a sudden cardiac event by alerting CPR-trained responders that an individual is in need of assistance in their vicinity. The PulsePoint App has the ability to provide guidance in the performing basic assessment and CPR skills and will inform the community responder of the location of the nearest AEDs.

PulsePoint has been integrated into the City of Riverside’s Emergency Response System to provide immediate notification to subscribers.
