Equipment

  • Pitcher
  • Saucepan
  • Serving glasses

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Raw Wildflower Honey
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 6-8 Strips Lemon Peel
  • 1 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2-3 Tbsp Dried Lavender Buds
  • Ice Cubes
  • Fresh Lavender Sprigs garnish
  • Sliced Lemons garnish

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add 1 cup of water, the strips of lemon peel, and the 1/2 cup of honey. Heat over medium heat until honey is completely dissolved. Once dissolved, remove from heat and add in the dried lavender buds. Set aside and let steep for 15 minutes.
  • After lavender syrup is done steeping, strain with cheesecloth and set syrup aside to cool.
  • In a pitcher, combine the fresh squeezed lemon juice, remaining cups of water, and the lavender infused syrup. Mix well and place in the refrigerator to chill.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices. For a purple hued lemonade, add 1 drop of purple food coloring to each glass.

Notes

For a sweeter lemonade, increase the amount of honey to 2/3 cup.
If you are unable to obtain dried lavender, substitute with 2 Tablespoons of lavender syrup.
